Veteran Musher Paul Gebhardt is from Kasilof, a small town located on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska.

He has participated in 14 Iditarod races since his rookie race in 1996, and has had 7 top 10 finishes. In Iditarod XXXVIII, he finished in 19th place, reaching Nome in 9 days, 20 hours and 31 minutes.
