Ramey Smyth ran an incredible race, passing dozens of teams and eventually crossing the finish line in Nome in 3rd place, after 9 days, 6 hours and 4 minutes. He reached Nome with 9 dogs left on his team. Ramey also had a strong 2nd place finish in last year's Iditarod.

Ramey Smyth Guest Rider

Ramey Smyth finished in second place in the 2011 Iditarod behind John Baker. Ramey Smyth completed the race in 8 Days 19 Hours 50 Minutes.

Musher Ramey Smyth of Willow, Alaska, finished in 6th place in the 2010 Iditarod. Ramey Smyth is a veteran musher, having participated in 16 Iditarods since 1994. He has finished 7 times in the top 10.
