For Iditarod 40, we are happy to see the return of Karen Ramstead, one of our favorite Mushers with her Siberian Husky team. Karen Ramstead completed the 1000 miles race from Willow to Nome in 13 days and 21 minutes. The Canadian Musher crossed the finish line in 50th position, with 10 dogs left on her team.

Karen has participated in 10 Iditarods since the year 2000.

Karen Ramstead is from Canada. She has a team of beautiful Siberian Huskies.

She scratched at the McGrath checkpoint in the 2010 Iditarod.
