Musher Karin Hendrickson from Wasilla, Alaska, tried out her 5th Iditarod this year.
She reached Nome in 40th position after approximately 11 days and 2 hours. She crossed the finish line with 10 dogs on her team.

Karin completed the 1000 mile race in 11 days, 18 hours and 32 minutes, with 12 dogs left on her team. She crossed the finish line in Nome
in 36th place.

Musher Karin Hendrickson dropped out the 2011 Iditarod in White Mountain.
The 40 year old Willow Musher is fairly new to the
Iditarod as she only participated to 3 of them. In 2009, Karin ran her rookie race in which she finished in 40th position.
