Matt Giblin completed the 1100 miles race from Willow to Nome in 11 days, 20 hours and 20 minutes. The Juneau Musher crossed the finish line in 38th place with 11 dogs left on his team.

Musher Matt Giblin is from Juneau, Alaska. Matt finished the 2011 Iditarod in 40th place, completing the 1100 mile race in 12 days, 7 hours and 55 minutes.

Matt's previous participation in the Iditarod was 13 years ago in 1998 (his rookie race) when he finished in 50th place.
