Veteran Musher Robert Bundtzen from Anchorage, Alaska, has participated in 13 Iditarods since his rookie race in 1995. His best finish was in 1997 when
he reached Nome in 27th position. Bundtzen did not participated in last year's Iditarod and was forced to scratch the 2011 race.
