Anemone parviflora, commonly known as Windflower or Small Flowered Anemone, can be found on Alaska mountain slopes or alpine meadows. Each plant will usually produce a single flower stalk. The variety found in Alaska can have 5 or 6 white petals, surrounding the yellow pistil and stamens.

The delicate flower starts blossoming in late June or early July.
